When you start seeing shit and prophesizing the end of all things, they'll notice.

Sorry to keep you out of the action like this. I just need to know what the rest of the part decides to do. What they decide could whittle away at the success you've gained in leading the other enemies astray, or it could boost the effect.
We'll see what happens.

No problem. I'd already guessed that you needed to keep me on hold while you resolve the timing difference that's going on right now.

Hmm. Unless Michael bucks the trend it appears Owain has been left to his own devices by his companions. Bastards.

Ha ha ha! When I first read this post (before reading the main thread) I thought they might have decided to pack up camp and get back on the road without you!
Now THAT would've been funny.
In any case, I'm going to make a quick post. Maybe give it a couple hours... I'd like to at least get Bonnie's response to Meldorac, but after it's out, feel free to rejoin the main group (you'd be the crashing through the bushes).

What happened to the Gourgaz Owain tried to lead away from the camp?

Oh, right. The Gourgaz. Don't know how that got lost in the mix. I feel utterly embarrassed, now.
For almost an hour you and Trenton play a cat-mouse game, skirting the edge of the woods, creating false trails, hopefully leading the army to the north and east, on the opposite side of the woods from which you are hoping to ride. You can only hope your efforts are successful: you don't dare lie in wait for the enemy.
At one point you hear a howling which Trenton identifies as Doomwolves, but you only hear the sound once.
After your hard work, you barely have the energy to make the trek back to camp. Again you're glad for Trenton's services, as he takes the lead and you can focus on resting your tired, anxious, mind.
