Your GM is extending the "off time" one more day. I've been really sick today, had to work the day through regardless, and so need to rest.

I am doing better today, but not nearly as good as I would like (work is largely not helping; though it isn't punishing me as badly today for taking a couple days off last week). So I'm going to give myself one more evening of downtime.
Thank you very much for your patience, all.

I'm out of time to get a post started tonight, unfortunately. I need to work very early tomorrow morning. So I will make a post about mid-afternoon Pacific tomorrow, and that will be the last post for this week.
Sorry for being so unavailable these past two weeks. I will do better starting next week. Thank you again for your patience.

So, yeah, long narrative writing is hard some evenings.
I am trying to finish the story Medwyn is telling Ilia in this GM post, due to the timing between her activities and that of the rest of the party. But I've kind of run out of writing steam tonight. The writing is starting to descend into suck, I fear.
So I will finish the post tomorrow morning and post it by tomorrow mid afternoon. Things will continue as normal at that point.
Altor, I noticed you did not post today and did not give absence notice. You are welcome to do so if you can between now and when I make my update post tomorrow.

Bleh. Sorry all. Hitting a bit of "writer's block" with the story I am trying to wrap up that Medwyn is telling. Part of the difficulty is there are seperate elements of that story that are relevant to this one, and I'm trying to weave those elements in without making them TOO obvious. ;-)
So I'm putting off posting an update for Ilia this weekend, and just making my post for Castiel, Rolph, Lorenic and Altor. I want you all (as the post suggests) to move forward anyway. And there's no reason to stall the entire game because one branch of it is not quite coming together the way I'd like.
So Ilia is "off" for this weekend, until after Monday's post. The rest of you are "on".

GM isn't posting tonight, I fear. I ended up having to deal with a late night work assignment. Since I will be traveling tomorrow, I think I shall just give you all a "three-day weekend" from the game.
Have a good one. I'll be back Monday.

Altor,
Sorry for the delay. I will review your character creation email this weekend.

Players,
As there appears to be some delays in people getting posts up by this evening, and I want to offer the chance to Lorenic to adjust his post, I am not posting tonight. Back tomorrow night.

Castiel,
You need to stop "skipping" out without either posting or contacting me in advance to let me know that some real life circumstance will prevent you posting. Twice in three days, particularly since I had to remind you to post the third of those days, is too much.
This represents a formal GM warning. The Game Rules regarding daily posting apply to you.

Players,
Ilia is stepping out of the game for the foreseeable future. Life right now is just a bit too full. When she can step back in, I'll weave her back in.
For now, it is the typical routine when a character must necessarily be removed from the game. Just play on as if she was not, and has not been, present. Ilia is not presently integral to anything involving the other characters, save in specific ways that can be obtained in the game through other means.

Players,
For whatever reason, I forgot to post last night. So posts will be appearing this week Tuesday morning through Saturday morning.

Players,
I'm seeing an increase instance of people skipping posts. You all have no excuse for doing that, as it does not matter for the purposes of the game when the GM posts.
Desist as of now. I am not patient about this, because you all agreed to follow the Game Rules. Those rules are very, very clear about this.
Worse, I can see when you get on the site and you don't post, so don't feed me lines about "I forgot about the game" that day. "The dog ate my homework" hasn't been a valid excuse for any of you for years now, if not decades.
It is not fair to your fellow players (particularly those making the dedicated effort to post every day, as the Game Rules require). And it is not fair to me, trying to keep the game together and moving forward on a daily basis. Whenever you skip a post without giving notice, you are wasting the time of the others. Whether you are being a jerk through active malice or passive negligence amounts to about the same thing in practice.
I will eject you from the game, if you can't play by the rules. I trust this is the last time I need issue each of you a warning?

Players,
As you know, last week was a bit odd in that I shifted to posting in the mornings, Tuesday to Saturday, because I missed Monday evening's post. In making that shift, I tried out writing posts in the morning rather than the evening, and found it worked rather well for me.
So, as of next week, the GM will be posting in the mornings (Pacific time zone) Monday through Friday.
This does not really change much for you all, except that it is no longer a good idea to procrastinate the "weekend post" until Monday. Unless you are Rolph and have a three-hour headstart on the day from the rest of us, waiting until Monday will like result in you missing a post.
We'll try this for a bit, and see if I still like it.
As stated above, this posting routine by your GM will start next week.
In all other respects, the Game Rules still apply.

Players,
Sorry for the delay today. It took until noon to get a post up.
Be mindful of the GM's posting time this week. I will always wait 24 hour this week, unless it is apparent and clear that all four of you have posted. However, if I can, I will try and "push" my posting time back to the morning again.

Rolph,
You too need to coach Rolph's approach as a Gather Information attempt. That means you also need to put into your post what Rolph is looking to learn (at least in general terms), and post a roll accordingly.
