I think Bonnie was planning on being a border ranger, if I remember.
Also, you can always raise stats. So classes in this game aren't restricted to being weakling healers forever ^_^
Since you get to basically describe combat actions, a healer can be a wielder of powerful martial arts techniques, or of life sucking magic. Against the dark beings, maybe their very touch is deadly! Or maybe they use wrestling moves and lots of well aimed rocks ^_^
It's up to you.

I think we might have some problem with damage dealing.
Bonnie is not a tank with plate armour, large shield and capable of dishing out and taking damage galore.
I guess we will have to outsmart the monsters ....

It will certainly be scary this way. But yes, you should be able to outsmart the baddies if you work together... at least until you all start going nuts.
I'm REALLY liking the way this is getting set up. I think this will be a lot of fun for everyone.

There are many ways to arrange the unpleasant demise of another being. Just ask any GM....

Ah, memories. Characters have died in so many creative ways in Zombie Apocalypse, and we have a Sanity mechanic there too - we use the BRP Call of Cthulhu rules. It's too bad I won't be able to play in this, but I know I'll enjoy reading along.

*slams door open and runs in* ...pant...pant.... phew, Im here! *sits and downs a yard of ale to keep himself level* right ok, time for some role-play then... Im at work for the next 4 days so plenty of time for character building etc Brother Owain, we can all kill, we all have hands with weapons in them, or have hands that can make things go boom which in turn kills stuff. We just may have to do it form a bit of a distance is all

Alright, now we're on our way to some mighty character creation!

I think we should use the dice roller for this game. It's not a pain to link to, is it? I don't want to have anyone working hard to play the game. invisiblecastle.com/roller/

Most of us were using Invisible Castle in other games here anyway. I find it slightly more fiddly than the Wizards of the Coast roller, but I can live with it.

I don't mind which roller people use, as long as its verifiable and easily linked. I wouldn't normally care, but since this will be, to some extent, a player-versus-player game, I think it's a good idea.

Verification with the WotC roller is limited to cut and paste, so you might not be too keen on it. You can check Ector's rolls in The Sun Sets dice rolling thread for examples of its output.

Not me, I'm an innocent scholar. Eviltb was gunna be the tank, with bonnie on ranger duties throwing the far hurt in and hopefully some finesse blows too
Edit: oops, another page - and of course, eviltb is the mage
Eh, we'll be the sneaky mage-y possy, it's all good

Meldorac. I find it intriguing that you keep going on about how innocent you are when nobody has accused you of anything and in fact the game hasn't even started yet.
