It's your own roll. Since he's targetting Bonnie, he can't hurt you, but he still has to compare his dice to see if and how much damage is done to himself.
I'm assuming that isn't the order you want the dice in.

Owain administered to Gregor, then stood back as the mage launched another magical barrage at the Drakkarim Commander. Amazingly, the evil man caught the bolt on the edge of his sword. Though the electricity sparked up the blade and over his armour, he shrugged off the blow and continued advancing towards Bonnie. At that moment, Meldorac jumped on him from behind... but though braze, the maneuver did little to stop his progress. Meldorac's knife glanced harmlessly off his armour. Trenton tried to put himself in front of the Commander, but he was batted aside like a rag doll. Meanwhile, Michael had gotten past his fears. He rushed to Bonnie and laid his hands upon her. At first, the ranger was startled by this sudden move, but then she felt warmth flowing into her body and strength returning to her limbs: calm replacing her pain. Heal 1 damage, BonnieSuddenly Michael shrieked and leapt away from her as the Drakkarim Commander bore down upon them. The flat of his sword struck Michael in the side of the head and the healer tumbled to the ground. His bag spilled open, and several potions fell out, amongst them two easily recognizable potions of laumspur. Michael's pretty much out of the game, so I'm making these available to anyone for use. The other potions you can't recognize at a glance.Bonnie had no time to see if he was alright: the Commander was slashing at her with his heavy sword. She held up her own blade in defense, but the strength behind the blow was too great: her sword was batted aside and the Drakkarim followed up with a vicious thrust. Drakkarim: 17, 18 (8, 4 saved) Bonnie: 16 (11 saved) Meldorac: 14, 10+6, 16, 20 Gregor: 15, 13, 9+11
Ouch. Good thing this Commander can only attack one guy at a time. Or, in this case, lady at a time. Bonnie takes 3 damage (smart move only using one die, means you can't get hurt as much, lets the others do the damage for you). Roll resistance, adding any extra dice with stress points or rerolling any with same. Don't forget the bonus from Faithshield. Also, if you wish, I'll let you use one of Michael's laumspurs as a preventive this round (so you could prevent all the damage, even if all else fails).

Once more against Bonnie.

Having recovered sufficiently from his previous wounds, Gregor decides its time to throw is actual weight into the fight. Clutching his spear he runs in and assists Bonnie in filling the Drakkar with lots of bleedy holes. Spear attacks (1d20=5, 1d20=10, 1d20=4, 1d20=20)Interesting. This order - 19 (5+10+4), 20[/color]

Owain joins the group attacking the commander, jabbing at him with the iron-clad tip of his quarterstaff. Number sequence for this attack: 7,9. I will use the staff's damage bonus in this fight.invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1911681/

Round ResultsGregor and Owain both came to Bonnie's rescue. Suddenly, the Drakkarim Commander found himself encircled by foes. He hesitated in his attack, assessing the situation anew. Owain was the first to strike, darting in with his quarterstaff. The Drakkar blocked the first blow, then kicked out against the second, forcing the priest back. At that moment, Gregor came in, twirling his spear above his head and then striking with the built up momentum. The Drakkar blocked the blow with his arm, but he winced and everyone heard bone shatter inside the gauntlet. But it was Bonnie who landed the most impressive blow: a deadly downward chop with her sword that dazed the Commander, causing him to stumble back. He quickly recovered and steadied himself, though a line of blood now dripped out from under his helmet. Drakkarim: 8+13, 20 (2 saved) Gregor: 19 (5+10+4), 20 Bonnie: 37 Owain: 7, 9
Results: Because their final numbers match, Gregor and the Drakkarim would both take damage... except the Drakkarim can only target one opponent, so he takes 1 damage. Bonnie wins her match straight out (demonstrating nicely a good use of a high number, thank you Bonnie). I think your shortsword deals +2 damage, right?
Owain would've done good, except the Drakkar's 20 is a natural 20, so it doesn't trigger a switch up. The Drakkar takes no damage from Owain.
I'm spending 1 threat to try and resist two damage. I got an 11 and a 19, so 1 damage resisted. That leaves me with 3 damage taken. So the Drakkar is at 7/11.
Be sure to tell me if I've missed any abilities in my damage add up.
Attack: invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1911892/ Resist: invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1914080/Meanwhile, Meldorac scanned the area quickly... perhaps too quickly, for he saw nothing that seemed to speak of a way out of this trap. Yet there had to be a way... with his archers dead, how was the Commander planning on opening the gates and escaping himself? Meldorac then turned his attentions to the Commander's saddlebags. The horse's fall had been worse than he'd thought: the poor beast was dead. Maybe it had broken its ribs and one had punctured its lung? Meldorac didn't know, and he tried not to think about it. His own horse didn't seem to be in good condition either. It was lying on its side and breathing heavily, its eyes glazed over. Meldorac didn't know anything about mending an animal, he'd only ever ridden the things. He grabbed the saddlebag and got away as fast as he could. Unfortunately, his efforts turned out to be fruitless, the Commander had naught but a couple rations in the bag. A humorous and bizarrely excellent (if somewhat cowardly) idea, Meldorac, and one I was leaning towards rewarding... but good god, those rolls... sorry.
Alright, next round! Drakkarim is targeting Owain this time.

Try not to kill him? We'll be lucky if we all get out of this alive! thinks Owain as he tries to intercept the commander's sword arm with a strike of his own. invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/1914094/1d20 → [19] = (19) 1d20 → [3] = (3) Sequence: 19 (3 saved)
