Maerin - Altor is a bit worried at this stage, I know my char sheet has yet to have the final seal of approval, but he would definately be wanting to use his "notice" and "sense motive" supplemented with his "enhance senses" skill.

I'm sure you would. All things considered, Fers should very much worry Altor... :-) Notice checks are being made by me as appropriate. If you are looking for something in particular, of course, you can include that in your post. If your post includes a reference to a "use" of Sense Motive, you will see the outcome in my post as well (Jynx did that yesterday, actually). Indeed, without that in-character reference in your post, you wouldn't likely make a successful check anyway. Call this a case of player training. :-) Game mechanics certainly assist the player in roleplaying a character; however, they are not dominant in the game and story and you (and Altor) do not need them here. That, incidentally, includes Diplomacy in order to avoid Altor's words worsening his situation right now. The police don't actually ask a pickpocket to accept what he did as illegal before trying him. Indeed, you're probably better off figuring out what Altor did quicker than being told, if only so you don't get ground under the stone wheel of justice... Characters will be finished soon enough.

I apologizes for the lack of posting, my trip hit some hurdles. I will be back to my regular posting tonight. Again, I apologize for my late notifications and my role paying absence.

No apology necessary. The rule is, if you let me know in advance, you are off for the day or more that you let me know about. So don't worry about it. The GM included Castiel's introduction merely to keep the game moving.

I can honestly say that I never once in my life thought I would be leveling an official complaint against an owl...

Maerin grins.
"Your honor. He looked at me funny. So I stole his wallet. It's his fault." :-)
The real question here is, did you ever imagine the owl would level an official complaint at you first?

Well, as to that, Lorenic, there are a number of points to be found in this. That, however, is not among them. :-)

@rolph - as correct as you are, my char's virtue is 'determined' and his vice is 'stubborn'. He will refuse to accept he has done anything wrong... this could be interesting.

That's one way to describe it. Altor should have listened to Samuel Coleridge - never mess with an owl-batross.

Do be aware, Altor, that I have not final-approved your Virtue and Vice as yet. So don't be expecting that excuse to bail you out... :-)
But that said, you certainly managed Stubborn. Not, however, Determined. It's easy to make this mistake, but don't confuse your Virtue and your Vice. They are always very different and you can never be or act in accord with both at once (which is why I have yet to approve your choices of Virtue and Vice in the first place). To that, I will merely observe that giving into Vices has often contributed to the Darwinistic passing of many a past character. Too much stubbornness has been known to kill when a character holds his breath too long, stubbornly believing he did not need oxygen...
All that said, your roleplay is what it is. I'm not vetoing it. None of you fellow player characters are presently "bailing out" Altor from his lapse in wisdom. So it is presently up to you to save yourself IC.
But you might take Rolph's OOC comments under further consideration, Altor, as a player. Rolph has lost one past character in my game in a set of circumstances where neither dice nor game mechanics could save him. Players can effectively kill themselves with nary a Will save to resist their own choices. It looks to me like Rolph has learned something from that experience. :-) The point behind having an OOC Discussion thread is so players can help other players at need, and outside the game.
