I will be off to the Lake District for a week on Saturday with the family, so will have intermitent access to the forums. Not taking a laptop with me but will have my cell which allows me to use the free wifi where we're staying. So will be able to post sparingly, both on TOTS and on LWRPGoL but wont be able to partake in MHA or BattleStations on FB.

Ooooh. Whereabouts are you going? I went to Cumbria, near Derwentwater, at Easter Oh - pop quiz for you to think about. How many lakes are there in the Lake District?

Well, you're on the right lines, but there's definitely more than none

I'm now back, after my extended weekend away. The anniversaries of the second eruption of Vesuvius and the Battle of Bosworth have all passed and I'm now 29. I've also just been to GenCon UK and bought over £300 of books!

Vesuvius was 24th August, AD 79 (exactly 1900 years to the day before I was born), whilst the Battle of Bosworth (the battle that ended the Plantaganet dynasty and introduced the short-lived but momentous Tudor dynasty) was 26th August, 1485. There's no real connection other date proximity

My grandmother was hospitalized yesterday and at the moment it is anyone's guess how serious her condition is. As I have some time off from work anyway I will be visiting my family until we know what is going on. I can't definitely say I will miss any updates but at this time I cannot rule it out either.
