Nope, no Darklords will be resurrected!

Assuming no one has a more peaceful solution, and assuming the drunk does not back down, Callum will defend himself and the priest. He'll be defensive with his sword, until he can get his shield to bear. After that, it's parry with the sword and issue some self-righteous smack-down with shield bashing until the drunk gives up or is unconscious.

Lol, it's funny to be playing a knight standing shoulder to shoulder with a dwarf again, and yet for it to be a totally different proposition. It's nice to try and work out the difference in what Calym the younger, Calym the Elder and Callum would do

Hip to shoulder, surely.

It's nice to try and work out the difference in what Calym the younger, Calym the Elder and Callum would do I presume this time around you might be going for "not getting poisoned by a couple lowly sailors while waiting for the dwarf to get back from scouting by himself"... ;D

Sadly, like Calym the Elder, Callum is also a knight of valour and virtue - as long as he's not being an arrogant ass, he'll be standing with his back to sneaky harm and assuming his companions are fine Just he doens't have level 19 fortitude and End anymore!

Alas poor Callum, we knew him...
Um...
Does anyone know who this Callum is? Did someone make a spelling mistake or something? I thought this was another one of those Darmoon funerals...

Using the same spelling throughout the family is a little cute! He's still a Darmoon, about seven generations down from the Calym of 'a night to remember'. I don't think he's particularly prominent as a character. Infact, if he doens't get a change of personality during these adventures, he'd be one of those knights in the background that would support it when the knighthood goes bad and advocates Sommerlund for Sommerlund or something He's brave and virtuous, but maybe to a fault with too much pride in everything he associates with, and needs some external nudge to push him back to the path of right that the other Darmoons have trod

Is Cloesia Durenese or Vassgonian or its own thing right now? I have lost track!

Lukav: are you staying with Callum or following the others?

Lol, I suspect if he stays, he won't be with Callum - he'll be using all the body language he possesses to not be associated! I have the funny feeling a mysterious eye witness though isn't going to be let off the hook...

I have the funny feeling a mysterious eye witness though isn't going to be let off the hook... Out of character, the mysterious eye witness is quite surprised he's got away with just sitting there for as long as he has. ;D Crymson - Lukav is sitting watching the unfolding scene with formerly mock, now genuine shock and incredulity. He hasn't moved very far at all, but any movement he has made has definitely been away from the bunch of nutters who are in the process of making themselves outlaws in his country's capital city!

I'm not sure how timing between characters not in combat and characters in combat is supposed to work - should we wait for the result of Callum's combat round before making our own posts?
