Those of you focusing your Sixth Sense of the hut sense no danger from within. Those of you focusing on the forest can sense evil all around you - but whether this is from the overwhelming presence of the Darklands army or some other factor you are unsure.
As Running Bear and Raging Stallion enter the hut, you notice blood on the floor. Following the trail you enter a small room where the body of the hut's owner - an elderly man - lies skewered by a Giak spear. He obviously fought well, though, as there is a dead Giak in there with him.
The rest of the hut is in disarray; the enemies who were here obviously ransacked it before moving on.

Sun Snake does not want to enter this place of death, especially with every sense and fear screaming for the group to move on quickly. The Kai Lord continues to guard the door awaiting his fellows.

Raging Stallion turns away from the corpse and storms out of the hut. He barges past Sun Snake and stands looking forward in the middle of the road, staring forwards.

Feeling uneasy at the ill aura that pervades this place, Swift Otter wanders over towards Sun Snake and Fierce Kanu.
"We should go," he mutters, still gazing at the surrounding trees.

Slightly unsure of himself, Fierce Kanu tightens his grip on his weapon.
'I agree, we should make haste.'

Running Bear finds nothing except for a Dagger on the dead Giak's body.
You have been hacking through the forest for about twenty minutes when you hear the beating of wings high above the trees. Looking up you see a large Kraan approaching from the north, its huge black wings casting a gigantic shadow on the trees below.
On its back are two creatures armed with long spears. They are Mountain Giaks--small ugly creatures full of hatred and malice.

Although still seething, Raging Stallion can do nothing but hide with his brothers. He keeps a tight grip on his weaponary and watches with hatred as the Kraan pass overhead.

Swift Otter drops into the undergrowth and trusts in his Camouflage training to protect him from detection. He is mindful, however, that some of his fellows may not be so skilled at disappearing into the forest, so his eyes and ears are alert to any indication that they have been spotted.

Sun Snake dives into the foliage, using techniques learned in class and forest walks for camouflaging himself He clutches the hand axe he is using to clear the undergrowth, cursing he sheathed his sword to do so. Roll for camouflage if needed (1d10=5) - just incase

Yep, I will require a random number from everyone if you elect to hide. This is called a 'Test'. If you possess Camouflage, you get a 'Bonus' equal to half your rank rounded down (which is 5th, as you have five Disciplines). So, at this stage Camouflage gives you a +2 bonus on the random number.

Hopefully concealed by the undergrowth, Running Bear waits to find out if he has hidden successfully.

Fierce Kanu attempts to hide alongside his brethren. Crouching on the forest floor, he again grips the hilt of his weapon in preparation for the worst.
