Yeah, that really was a cowardly player move, and I actually feel bad about that! Don't know how Meldorac would feel about it to be honest... inspiration will come, I am sure. You know, if he can recover his sanity! Then again, if you are going to give monsters +2 damage and make them roll lucky 20s into the jaws of a cool 1, then I have no sympathy and put the responsibility squarely on you!

Well, information volunteered. Not that I don't trust you, you are just giving my character relevant information ahead of time to use...just, you know, he is now at the limits of The descent! Why can't this scene end so he can get some sanity back! Oh, incase I forget, Sherri's pathetic show with handling the sword earlier ruled her out of any consideration Meldorac might have had about her potential. I reckon Meldorac will think Gregor is welcome to her, and they are both wastes of space - magical powers aside for Gregor, I guess! Then again, Meldorac never saw Gregor kill one of the archers, thought the mage was an idiot for killing the Drakkarim captain, and never saw Gregor kill the other dog. So he has no reason to think the mage has any uses really

So he's quickly becoming self-ostracized from the group? Wonderful! I'd imagine that he had relied on Trenton somewhat as an ally, so yeah, Meldorac is probably going a little nuts right now. I mean, he doesn't like Bonnie at all, he doesn't trust Owain at all, he thinks Gregor is a waste of space... I guess Aram would be the only one left.
As for the information, that's the beauty of insanity... you have no way of knowing whether what I told you is valid or not. Go for it, and it could be a trap, or fake memory. Pass it up, though, and you might find yourself spending the night in a potentially deadly house (after all, it has already been attacked once tonight).
Furthermore, regardless of the information's validity THIS time, you have no idea whether the NEXT pm will be valid or not. There's no use for precedent in this situation. It's all gut feeling and taking chances.

Don't get Meldorac started on Sir Aram, the mysterious 'knight' who appeared from nowhere and just so happened to want to go to Oasis, and happened to wander around a house ad not find the dead bodies nor illicited response from Sherri even though he must have tried the door too? The man's just too well armed to antagonise out loud though And lol, if you are playing the roleplaying aspect of the game, then it doesn't matter how true it is, the character needs to act like it's true! I'm so screwed!

I know prode comes before a fall, and I know I was thinking my stealth strike ability a little underpowers, but surely I'm right in thinking that against a four health four combat dice kraan I've got every chance of killing it? Unless it does some X8 or X9 combination for its first blow and holds the other dice back, I win the second roll so at least deal 3 damage right? And more likely 4 as I have the same amount of dice to resist switch ups resisting as it has to resist the switch up, right?

I cut your post to where it will lead on. I kept the rest, though, just in case:
Meldorac smiles what he hopes is a reassuring smile, and haunches slightly to be on a better level with the little girls.
"I'm not sure how much fun I would be, I'm afraid, but some of my friends now...I would enjoy a game with you if they got to play instead...
"There's a funny man in plain robes who claims the moon god favours him, but the moon god would not care if you slices him to pretty ribbons. He has a pouch with many herbs, and if we made him eat them he would turn so many beautiful colours for you first - blues and green and reds - with so much screaming..."
"And the knight, he's half mad already." Meldorac uses his dagger point to do a little illustrative twist for insanity. Meldorac actually puts the point to his temple and inflicts some slow pain, drawing a point of blood. It is the only way to keep himself focused and in control as he feels the terror of the situation. "Think of the fun we could have making him more and more insane until he is crying at the shapes in his brain." Meldorac hopes this is not an accurate description of himself. Meldorac also hopes his words would not be audible in the real world if that were the case. "Meanwhile, you with your knife and I with mine, we could have fun slowly peeling him out of his tin can body, and I could teach you how to spray hs blood on the walls to form your own names. Would you like that?
"What are your names? There is so much I would like to know from you, and I could teach you so many fun games to play on all my friends while we talk..."

I'd like to increase the stealth ability to allow you to get off stealth attacks. If you can ever work a situation so that you can get ina strike before being noticed, you do 2 free damage. You have to describe it, though, and I have to accept your description. So be creative!

I'd like to accept that increase - and i will!

You hear the little girl's voice in your head:
"In a moment, everyone's going to try and run through the door near you. Don't follow. We'll save you if only you stay where you are."
You can't tell whether the voice belongs to the girl you met or her twin.

Meldorac will be staying then!
If it all goes badly...consider getting my character as your personal NPC of evil my birthday present from me. Though you'll have to fight for him first! ;D

If it goes badly, I hope you'll be staying with us as a new character. I'd miss the Beowuuf element. It's like sugar... you can never have enough.

Providing the rest run out the door, and Naseir is down, then Meldorac will stand up, slam the door closed, and stand without weapons awaiting the dark....
*fingers crossed*
*scared*
*hungry... mmm, hot dog sandwiches...*

Darn, I knew I should have had those sandwiches earlier. Well, Meldorac is almost totally insane now. So even if he survives the big bad.... Let's see what happens next! Edit: Ooh, one point from insanity, he's just...impaired Maybe it will aaaaaaaaaaaaall be ok
