What I need to move on is the resolution of your combat/damage. Did you decide to do the switch up? How many dice, if any, are you adding to your toughness roll, not forgetting the extra two you got from Faithshield? Did you decide, after your rolls, to have Trenton take damage (keeping in mind this lowers the effectiveness of his BLAZE OF GLORY attack, depends on your strategy for this combat)?
For the rest of you, I currently have Owain giving a potion to Gregor, and I'm going to have Michael try and heal Bonnie. The Drakkarim Commander is targetting Bonnie, so that leaves Meldorac, Bonnie and Gregor to declare actions.

Yeah, I thought so, I have one insanity point already, so the switch up prevention would pass me into the next phase... not fatal yet, not outside of my character, but a little too soon gameplay wise! I will pass!
Toughness roll +2 die for faithshield to resist damage (1d20=20, 1d20=18, 1d20=11)
Heck yeah, one damage resisted, the rest palmed off onto Trenton!Meldorac feels himself filled with odd optimism in the face of is skilled opponent, and spns out of the way with a small laugh. The Drakkarim captain easily adjusts his thrust into a powerful blow. It would surely have been the last ting Meldorac would have seen, had Trenton not bodily stepped in the way of the blow. Meldorac looked on with a mixture of confusion and horror at the blow blocked. He quickly moved away, though not out of the fight, but to obviously flank the Captain and get behind his back while the Drakkar was distracted. Hmm, if he wants Bonnie this will be less effective, but unless others are going to step up I'm taking Trenton and forming the Meldrac/Trenton double team! with Meldorac's brain and Trenton's brawn...we're screwed

No, you don't go to the next level until you PASS your current Mental, so you would need THREE insanity points total to go to The Brink.
That said, you actually resisted TWO damage there (18 and 20 are both higher than 16), so Trenton takes two, and I believe we're good to go.

I have one already from the scream in scene 1, and then 2 if I did the switch up, right?
And cool, I thought more toughness gave you more chances, didn't realise you could resist more damage!

Oh right, forgot that it costs two to do a switch up. And yeah, toughness gives you more chances AND every success cancels a damage.

Trenton falls back, holding a bleeding arm. "Here!" he yells at Meldorac, throwing him a dagger. "Don't expect me to save you next time! I want to be alive to spend some of your money!"
The Commander ignores them, though. He's realized that his archers have been killed. He doesn't see Gregor by the wall, but he does spot Bonnie with her bow and arrow and with a roar he strides towards her, blade raised for the kill, Trenton's blood shimmering in the glow of the sunset.
Trenton's Dagger is well-balanced in your hands, Meldorac. It adds +1 die to combat rolls when used in combat.

What affect is the potion having on Gregor, and how soon can he act? Will post some more shocking damage to the Commander after Gregor feels better

I'm waiting to resolve everything until I get all actions, but you'll be healed 3, I think. Maybe 4? I have to check over Owain's rolls again.
Owain's giving/administering it to you, so it costs him an action, but you can act right now.

Ok I'll heal 3 for now, then another 1 if it is 4. Gregor breathes a sigh of relief as his wounds close and the pain subsides from his body. He claps Owain on the shoulder and smiles. "Thank you friend, that should see me until we hit the nearest ale house. Now, stand back while we finish this!" Gregor steps forward and concentrates on the Drakkar commander. He needs to aim carefully here so he does not hit Bonnie. Lightning Hand on Drakkar Commander (1d20=15, 1d20=13, 1d20=9, 1d20=11). In this order: 15, 13, 20 (9+11).

Meldorac grabs the knife and looks to the captain rushing away. He runs up behind and attempts to stop him with a knife to the neck.

It turns out it is 4, by the way, Gregor.
Meldorac, I need your combat rolls. Don't forget you get +2 dice to Combat, one for Trenton, one for the dagger.
