The image of the twins burns in your memory (Take a stress point).
By the time you actually get situated on the floor, you are strangely energized. It's more a case of bad nerves than anything else. It's not the death, you've witnessed plenty of death in your time. It's something more internal, that you can't quite place. Your dead family's voices seem to reach you in the depths of the night.
Suddenly you sit straight up. You are hearing more than the echoes of the past. There is someone whispering words in the dark. Looking into a corner of the room, you spot two figures standing side by side. The figures seem to notice your observation of them, and they giggle in unison. Red blood shines on their necks.
It's the Mason twins, their throats slit causing their heads to loll around on their necks. "We'll be watching you," one of them says in a croaking voice. "Look for us in the shadows. Find us... and we'll find you."
When you don't respond, they seem to get angry.
"You do want to see your little children again, don't you?" one of them says. "If you don't play with us, we'll hurt them. We'll make them bleed. We'll show them to you. Find us."
You don't remember falling asleep, but you wake feeling very unrested.
Take two stress points for your pitiful sleeping and for the haunting. You can negate one of these points by retroactively taking the sleeptooth you found earlier.
