Zippo,
First, allow me to indulge in a brief moan:
Taking away my screamers and encouraging me to waste 2 stress points to get them back, when you presumably knew you were going to immediately take them away again with no means of avoiding it, seems frankly mean-spirited. This is particularly the case as sanity damage is basically permanent with our XP supply cut off. It's not the loss of the screamers I object to so much as the slight feeling I've been duped.
That' s better. Moving on, my questions:
Being a priest and therefore well-schooled in supernatural matters, would Owain recognize this being?
Does Igasso's necklace respond to the presence of the entity in any noticeable way?

Don't worry, this isn't one of those Lone Wolf linear path sections. Your screamers can be recalled as quickly as you want them. The thing is, had I not removed them briefly, the horseman would've killed them. There's a certain "trick" to the horsemen and I didn't want you to lose your Screamers after having just spent stress to get them back. Right now your Screamers are hiding and can be communicated with telepathically as before.
In fact, they may very well know the best way out of this situation. They inform you they are hiding in a nearby sewer. Skill roll to interpret their directions to the sewer. They say "make no sound" over and over, as well.
Other questions: the necklace does not respond. As a priest... let's roll Skill for that one, too.

Oh OK, consider me mollified. It strikes me that not much time has passed since another occasion when Owain was told to make no sound. I wonder if there is a connection. Skill rolls you asked for- Screamers: invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2277250/8,6,5,16 Knowledge:http://invisiblecastle.com/roller/view/2277252/ 1,12,16,6 Gregor may have doomed us all with his yelling though.

It's difficult to understand the Screamers, but they are saying something about the houses. You think they are telling you that they went through the houses to escape. There are a number of closed doors in this circle, leading to houses and huts. You could easily enter them. Which one they went through, that's another question.
As for the horseman, you've never heard of anything like this. It looks like something out of an amalgamation of the worst nightmares a Sommerlending could have. The horse, a plague beast of the Ceners. The horseman, some creature of Naar, riding around with the Daziarn for a skull.

Okay, the Screamers were right next to me when all this kicked off, so they probably went through the nearest door.
Can't just stand here indefinitely so I intend to start moving slowly and silently in that direction, maintaining a constant mental dialogue with the screamers to gather more information - I will be asking them what they can see, which direction they ran off in and where they are now.

I'm not quite sure how my stated intentions resulted in running and slamming doors, but considering the deep poop everyone else is in I'll take it.
Owain hides inside the building, trying to maintain contact with the Screamers to get an idea where to go next. Unable to aid his companions, he fervently hopes they are able to escape the Rider.

Sorry, I was saving some time to bring us to the end of the chapter.
Essentially, I've moved you in the direction the Screamers are telling you to go. you've maintained your connection with them decently enough to know this was the house they entered and that beyond it is a small alley with the sewer entrance. Once everyone is in here, you can probably get them to the sewers without issue.
