Thanks for the warm welcome! Actually, my character's name is Zohar with an R, not to be confused with a certain Mossad agent turned hairdresser portrayed by Adam Sandler in a movie I haven't seen yet. I knew the similarity was there, but Zohar is actually the name of a character who appears only briefly in the prologue of a GURPS Cliffhangers adventure gamebook I wrote in 2000 called "Between Iraq and a Hard Place." The prologue took place in ancient Babylonia, which was at that particular time part of the Medo-Persian Empire. Zohar was a Persian captain who led a group of soldiers to put an end to a Babylonian cult attempting to carry out human sacrifice. He killed the high priest Nexamos by throwing a dagger and hitting him right in the eye. Nexamos cursed him with his dying breath and said he would not live to see the sunset. Zohar ignored the curse and proceeded to battle the remaining cultists with his men. When they won and went to dispose of the bodies, a not-quite-dead cultist mortally wounded Zohar. Zohar killed him, but the damage was done and he died, causing his men to flee in panic, and they failed to completely eradicate the cult. The actual adventure that follows takes place in 1932. Anyway, the name was a cool one so I decided to reuse it on a character who will hopefully last longer.
I lurk on TotS, but I don't really have time to post there too and be in this game. I'm on a whole bunch of boards and I'm stretched thin with little free time as it is.

Then it's good to see you active in a game! (and interesting history of the name there - so changed!)
