Just general stuff here.
Go ahead and make a topic for your character sheet. Eventually I'll add a topic for hidden messages, and what not.

Cool - was about to PM you with some stuff, but posted it in a character sheet instead!

Everything looks good. Aside from the secret stuff, which I'll start a new thread to give you, I'd say you're done.

Just to make sure you're understanding the system okay and are happy with your choices, I thought I'd detail what your character will be good at. Just a helpful little service from Zipp to her players ^_^
Your character will be really good at actions outside of combat, as well as ranged attacks (which means we might want to give you some kind of throwing knife proficiency or something...). He's not a slouch IN combat, either, though. Unfortunately, he's not very thick skinned, and he tends to lean towards distrust and paranoia, making his mind easy to manipulate.
It does seem like your bio is uncharacteristically... malfunctioning. There seems to be words missing (son of a wealthy...) Wasn't sure if that was just the copy and paste or if something happened in the forums. Not looking to offend or pass judgement, of course. I just want to get the history clear, cause I like your characters.

Oh, yeah the copy paste seems to have gone and buggered up, sorry And I know you like my character, but, remember those inconsistencies and the way around them I mentioned? I am totally open tp being the double agent It might be in keepign with the character, or it might be in keeping with the character's... brother. A much nastier character, whom, Dirac folllowed in to pirate service. Dirac's brother leaves him to the mercy of the pirate while jumping ship himself, and Dirac's brother then in turn takes Dirac's name as a cover when first landing. His original intent would have been to go find the lukuri pirates or some other band far, far from Shadakine to belong to... Anyway, let me know

I always forget that we'll be posting at roughly opposite times from each other, due to our time zones and work schedules ^_^ Had I seen this earlier, I may have waited to post all the goal stuff.
I actually had you in mind for the double agent from the start, since you're good at that. But then I came up with this series of goals and thought you'd be really good at that, too.
In any case, you'd probably have been everyone else's first pick for the double agent, so maybe this is for the best, after all ^_^

True Then again, it's a good double bluff! Although, now it's a triple bluff.... God, I hope I could get my act together once there is a lull in games to do my 'A Night To Forget' story. It's like a night to remember, but set in a shop...with a helghast...

It's like a night to remember, but set in a shop...with a helghast... Oh, hey, so I inspired you to do one, huh? It's a really fun game to run. I'm hoping this will be similar, but more focused and more balanced. Night to Remember was tough because everyone had goals that opposed... there was little reason to work together, so at some point it just fell into mayhem. This game, you'll need your oppon- er, teammates, to stay alive. But you'll also always be looking for that chance to back stab them. Of course, back stab too soon, and you'll find yourself in deep water without anyone to toss you a line...

Yeah, not to spoil anything, but the players will all be lumped together on one side, even if they have opposed goals, so they need to work together. Have the NPCs and the story all worked out, just need the layout and so on!
Actually, I htought night to remember worked brilliantly, some people had divergent goals, but there were still alliances, esp[ecially with the good guys, and it was all wacky fun! So lookign forward to this one too

I can't remember who you played in NTR, or if you were just a watcher. That was around the time that a bunch of new people (yourself included) joined TOTS, and I didn't know everyone well, yet.
Let's see... Sol was Reginald... Rune Dancer was the mage, who Shannon briefly took over... wait, you were the knight, right?
Oh, and about the long range proficiency, let's say you can throw daggers, since you're already good with those. Not as good as a bow, but you can't win em all, you know?

Oh, I also need to give you your item stats, don't I?
Well, the backpack items all seem pretty self explanatory.
The short sword will do +2 damage.
The problem is, without a proficiency in the weapon, your combat score will be effectively reduced to 1 every time you fight. Not a pleasant outcome. Sure you don't want to take a dagger, or a cutlass? The cutlass would raise some interesting questions as to where you learned to use it, which might be interesting from a role playing stand point.
But at least a dagger would let you fight.
If you don't want to take these, then I suggest you pilfer a dagger as quickly as possible... I can't promise there will be one for pilfering of course...

Not to be an insane roleplayer, but I imagine for that very reason he will be trying to not use a cutlass and learn the short sword. Of course, that means he will have more reason not to fight, and even more of a statement if he does get a dagger or cutlass and all of a sudden increases in combat ability!
Anyway, didn't get much sleep on the coach, so after settling stuff here, will be in bed to right my body clock for new years' tomorrow - incase you don't hear from me at sane times!

Well, that's admirable. It was nice knowing you ^_^
Just kidding... I like the commitment to rping everyone is showing. Don't forget to add that the shortsword has +2 damage.
The merchants also provide you with a book bag that holds 3 items (in this case two books and an ink pen). They dress you in the robes of a scholar and remind you that you've been sent along ostensibly to document the illness as you have some training in medicine.
Bluff is going to be your friend in this mission.

Sad to see Trenton go. I think that's one of my favourite things about the allies, though. It's the players who decide when and how they die, giving you a real sense of responsibility and empathy when they go.
Or maybe you just miss having a meat shield ^_^
