Gift of the Healer: You are expert in the preparation, storage and application of healing items. The effect of healing items is always increased by 1. If you wish, you can roll Skill to further increase this effect. Each 19 or 20 rolled increases it by 1.
Faithshield: Invoking this minor form of divine intervention causes the power of Ishir to protect you or a fellow adventurer. When you cast it, roll mental. For each 18, 19, or 20 rolled, the target gets to roll one extra die when resisting damage. The spell ALWAYS grants at least one extra die, and lasts until the end of combat.
Restoration: At the end of each scene, roll MENTAL. You may heal 1 point for yourself or any ally for each 13 or better rolled.
Mass Faithshield: A less powerful Faithshield, but it can be cast on all selected targets within an area equal to 10 feet x the caster's MENTAL score. All targets must be visible. All targets gain +1 to TOUGHNESS for the duration of combat. Does not stack.

8. Dervin's Tincture (boosts all stats by 1 til end of scene then wears off)
Free item: ritual coin
Tactics:
In combat, while Owain can handle his staff competently he is not exactly a front-line warrior. He concentrates on keeping his allies alive to protect him.
Bio:
Owain was but a small child when he was taken in by priests of Ishir and raised in a monastery near Holmgard. The priests taught him that he survived the plague that claimed his village because he was destined to serve Ishir.
The blonde-haired young Sommlending showed a natural aptitude for study. Perhaps spurred by the memory of his own village, he threw himself into learning the healing arts, including herbal lore, anatomy and physiology.
Additionally, he has spent countless hours poring over maps and reading of far-flung places, which instilled a strong desire to travel and seek out lost knowledge while giving aid to the weak and helpless.
Despite the deeply-rooted strength of his faith, Owain is a softly-spoken, likeable young man rather than an overbearing zealot.
However his inexperience in real-world matters and comparatively sheltered upbringing mean he is sometimes naive and trusting when dealing with others.
