Hopefully most of you will know me from the TotS and Project Aon forums, where I have been a general nuisance for some time. While I've played my share of computer and console RPGs, I'm almost certainly the least experienced "proper" RPG player here, so please be patient and bear with me! I'll be participating in Maerin's game, and I'm currently leaning towards a Knight of the Shield (possibly with a few modifications, we will see). I'm yet to create or name my character yet though I do have a few ideas. Here's hoping we all have some fun.

Heh, I forgot you were raw to all this d20 malarky - I'm sure you will be fine, especially undedr Maerin I only started playing under Zipp's ragadorn game, and was fine, and I think Al only started under Balgin's game. It's pretty easy to pick it all up really

I've read a fair chunk of the d20 rules, and presumably my experience in the Casiorn Challenge has helped me get my head round this whole "RPG by forum" thing you've got going on here. So hopefully I should be OK.

Yeah, should be easier since you don't break down your actions to activity points in d20, just a few action types per round when in combat and generic actions outside of it!

As Balgin stated when I started playing the play by post LWRPGOL and I asked how does the d20 system work "its easy, you roll a d20"
I did not realize how right he was at the time!

Balgin has various flaws, like my good self, but being wrong is not generally one of them
