Greogr has....slipped a little. Being blown up and losing the person he cares about the most kinda does this to a person. Anyway, the idea is that Gregor will launch a Lightning Hand at mr bad man if he doesnt do what he says. Me as a player, knows that Igasso probably wont be intimidated by this, but its worth a shot. If he tries to talk back to Gregor then he'll get zapped. Im also assuming that Im not in an anti-magic cage. secret mental roll to see if I can successfully hold/use spell. 1d20=20, 1d20=1, 1d20=1, 1d20=16, 1d20=11, 1d20=1 MAJOR fail! Rerolling three 1's at the cost of 3 stress. Given the circumstances I think that would probably happen anyway. 1d20=18, 1d20=15, 1d20=4 Thats better. Four success's including a 20??? ;D

If Mowyer does decide to actually kill me, then I will ring the silver bell.
I think I know what it does, so this should be the best course of action.... aside from frying him with a lightning bolt!
Cancel that then. Lets see what Aram does...

Yeah, you really don't know much about this. You've certainly never seen anything like it. Your guess would be it's been transifgured and that a powerful mage could reverse the effect. But then, the rest of his body seems to be changing, too. That complicates things.

As you know, Gregor has no spells for this sort of thing. But its not without saying that he cant fake it by holding his pendant and mubling some while he uses his knowledge as best he can. A little trickery can help ease the mind sometimes

Mowers probably gonna lose it based on what Gregors just said, so expect an in-character fight. With that in mind, Gregors is ready to retaliate so he's not suprised in the combat-sense.

So Gregor....
He's pretty much crapping himself right now over the sight of Mr Flaming Gourgaz, which can account for why he cannot cast spells at the moment. Gregors not in the state of mind where he would just resort to fisticuffs, nor would he just rush in swinging his arms wildly. In fact, Gregor will probably just back off and try and dodge or defend himself form any attacks. Thus, I want to use the dice I roll for him for purely defensive purposes, not for attack. Im aware that Gregor cannot remove himself from combat since he's a viable target to the Gourgaz, but he wont be attacking it directly if he can help it either. Is that going to work with the current combat setup??

Sure, if you want to purely defend, I'll give you an extra die to roll and we'll say you just don't do damage if you hit. I may give you bonuses based on your successes, though.

You can find the energy to use magic once per combat. So you could roll a spell now if you wanted to draw the horsemen's attention that badly.

Gregor still has his crystal star pendant right? So he could still use it to divert a stress to it? Which means given my current rolls, I could roll another dice as long as it isnt a 1 and bypass 5 stress right? Meaning no stress taken and only 1 stat damage right?
You're probably going to be mean now and say yes but the pendant melts or explodes or something....right?

No, the crystal star is your constant ally and you haven't used it yet this chapter, so please use it for this purpose! No explosion necessary ^_^
