"Greetings Sir Aram. I am Gregor, here with my companions Owain, Meldorac, Michael, and Bonnie. One of our number, Michael, is in need of rest for he is injured."
Gregor enters the house, indicating the others should follow suit.

You are probably not seeing Bonnie unless Zipp told you otherwise. The person in the door-way might enquire I guess.
You are leaving your mounts just like that for the night?

Trenton, like all good soldiers, knows the value of a good horse and moves to take advantage of the stables. Medorac doesn't give a hang for the soldier's horse except as a means of conveyance, but apparently does not want to stray too far from the mercenary and goes along.
Good point Bonnie! Unless anything happens, Trenton and Meldorac will be back soon

It's easy to forget about things like water and horses in an RPG, just like most fantasy novels don't describe the basic needs of sex, sleep, nourishment, or using the bathroom. I'll assume everyone stables their horses before going in, unless you tell me otherwise.
Are you going in as well, Bonnie, or are you staying where you are?

Let it be said that Meldorac and Trenton are not about to eat or mate with their horse, nor defecate on it

Let it be said that Meldorac and Trenton are not about to eat or mate with their horse, nor defecate on it Wow, that's excellent ^_^
Both you and Gregor have made me laugh out loud in the last week. I thank you for the service! A free experience point to both of you!
Hell, a free experience point all around for the great roleplaying everyone's been doing!

Bonnie to the man in the door-way:
"You had better do something with the light going out from the house towards the view." Bonnie points towards the right-hand side of the house where the hills fall away. "The light is likely to be noticed by darkland creatures roaming around in said view."
After that Bonnie will stable her mount and go inside.

Gregor keeps a firm grip on his spear as he looks around the house.
"How much of this house have you covered, Sir Aram?"
Can we get a description of the house please? State of repair, facilities etc??[/color]

Owain asks Bonnie to stable his and Michael's horses while he finds a bed for Michael to rest in.

Bonnie takes care of Owain's and Michael's horses.
Gregor, it is in the middle of the night. I suggest taking care of the interior fascilities as it is to dark to do anything about the exterior ones.

Sorry, Gregor, I was waiting for everyone to get into the house before I started posting descriptions.
Everyone stabled their horses in the dark stables, Meldorac cursing as he slipped on something in the dark (most likely horse droppings). Then they all returned to the house, which seemed more inviting then ever.
Coming in through the front door, you all find yourselves in a small inside porch with another door leading into the house proper. Though no lights are on in here, a little light comes through the window of the door, and you see a kitchen through the window, with a single candle burning on a counter.
Going into the kitchen, a strong and pleasant smell assaults your nostrils, the smell of freshly cooked food. Dirty pots and pans line the counter, though some are soaking in water: a sign that someone started the dishes.
There are two doors leading from the kitchen. One is more a doorway than an actual door, and it hits a corner, so you can't see where it leads. The other is an actual door.
Sorry to leave everyone hanging here, I've got to run out. More description coming when I get back. I'll also think of a good way to have the house searched without us having to spend three weeks in description and asking which room everyone wants to go to next ^_^

How'd I tread in horseshit without going into the stables? I thought I took Michael into the house?

How'd I tread in horseshit without going into the stables? I thought I took Michael into the house? That's what I get for posting in a rush: I meant to type "Meldorac." It's been fixed now. Okay, so everyone's now in the kitchen. What I need to know is what everyone's actions are, where they are going next. I wish I was better with image hosting and what not, or I'd draw a picture and scan it in for everyone. Maybe I'll do that using gmail photo. Give me a little bit, we'll see if we can't put something up.

Owain's intentions have already been stated: attempt to improvise some sort of infirmary for his patient. That means heading for the bedroom, if there is one. If you want any help with image hosting let me know, my Photobucket account is at your service.

I'm sorry it took me so long to reply, but during the week I can only be online for a few hours each day in the evening, and even less than that on most Tuesdays. Which means that if you expect a response from my character in the next 24 hours, please post in the next 4.
"I have encountered no dogs," says Sir Aram as he helps the injured man inside and out of the elements. "I am no healer, nor do I have any Laumspur, so I can do little for you but make you comfortable and protect you, Michael." He nods to Bonnie and closes the shutters. "You are right about the light. Whoever lived here appears to have left in a hurry. Their evening meal is on the table in the dining room around the corner, and there is enough to feed all of us, but we should secure the house first. I have explored most of the ground floor so far." He indicates the door. "That leads to a short, dark hallway with a locked door at the other end. Beyond the dining room is another hall with two doors. One door on the side of that hall probably leads outside, and there is another at the very end I have not yet opened. I was on my way to try it when you arrived. There are also stairs leading up there."
