Note that those of you who haven't yet can still spend your EXP. The cut off is Sunday night.
Traveling through the hills proved to be easier than the companions had thought it would be. The hilltops were fairly bare of foliage and as long as they stuck to these crests, the going was fairly smooth. Every once in a while, though, they had to descend into one of the mist covered valleys, and then the going became considerably slower as the horses picked their way carefully over woodland paths they could barely make out.
No matter where their path took them, they found no place that seemed appropriate for camping. Everything was wet, marshy, and cold from the rains of the afternoon. Also, the hills had an uncomfortably lonely feeling to them, as if the companions stopped, they would never be able to find their way to civilization again.
The sun had long ago set, and it was around midnight when the companions decided they could travel no further. As if in agreement, the pale moon of Ishir broke through a cloud and provided some light for them to see their way. They were halfway up one of the hills, far enough up that the fog lay below them like a dense grey sea. Ahead of them the moon shone on an uncanny sight: a large two story house built on a flat part of the hill. Lights shone out through the windows. Outside the house they saw a locked chicken coop: the birds clucked at them as they approached. There was also a stable: it's door swung idly in the wind and from inside they could hear the nervous whinnying of a horse.
