Please use this board for all out-of-character discussions among players.
Thank you to Altor for reminding me to create this.

You are more than welcome So, Erhus and I are being arrested? I see two reasons that this could be... we were the only ones to touch the bird and we were the only ones to speak Borese (although, this should not have surprised anyone about me as I am a dwarf!).

I would assume it was for the obviously pedifilliac way you two touched that poor owl.

LOL! ________________________________________________________________ I was actually thinking that it was a combination of my rowdy behavior and noisiness that angered a few of the patrons. I do remember being told that my bulkiness had caused some complaints, so that may be one of my misdemeanors. As for Altor, the only thing we did in common was talk in Borese (though nothing malicious was said). I never actually touched the owl. I just tried to shoo it away once, and grabbed the mug it was perched on. I'm a bit curious as to what we did myself. We shall see.

Suddenly, methinks bravado on my behalf may have worsened our predicament. Call it a hunch.

Methinks you are probably correct... *sigh* Although I knew it seemed that the results of that post had an 80/20 split chance of going as planned, I stuck with it. Me, the player, knew that it was probably a bad idea, but I know Eruhs would have done it anyways. My character made the choice, I just followed him. My condolences to everyone on his behalf. lol.

Yeah, but remember, you just met everyone here, i do not think people (I know Altor wont!) be jumping to risk their lives to defend you!

As for the above, the GM considers the players have correctly recognized the warning issued.

Noted. Even though I am quite aware that I had only met you, I made the decision regardless. Trust me, I am well aware of the relationships between characters, and I take that into consideration with every one of my posts.
I made the original post knowing full well that I was on my own. There is no need to remind me of that.
The post has been modified due to the GM's given warning, and because I don't want the other players to feel as though they have to face any negative consequences due to my actions.

None of you should probably grow too attached to notions of disassociation right now, either as characters or players. You may have noticed there was not ambiguity offered regarding the orders directed to anyone other than Ilia (and, obviously, Jynx). Whether you like it or not, five of you are now "in this together. So be mindful of each other.
Related to that, you can now all abandon the error that you will be able to "go it alone" in this game. I make no apologies for my games being ruthlessly designed for all the players together. If you "go it alone", you will find yourself left behind outside the story or your characters will perish (either by directly dying, if appropriate, or merely exiting the game). Either way, it will be a new character for you.
Harbor no delusions of being an exception. I do make exceptions happen from time to time, but those exceptions serve the story and game as a whole. Not the wishes or whims of a single player. If you are looking for the independent RPG experience, where you can do whatever you please (and typically die doing that, I will point out), there are plenty of suitable games out there. This isn't one of them.
Most of you, if not all, should know all that already. In case you do not, now you are so advised.

To GM:Understood. I have not, nor will not, harbor any intent to leave the group or attempt take on any large task on my own. Truth be told, I expected at most a punch to the gut for my earlier actions (before I had modified them, that is), a punishment that I saw fitting, but not one that would endanger others. If I was mistaken, then I apologize. I don't want to assume anything in this game. The only time I would expect myself to be alone, or as I mentioned above, "on my own", is if I was specifically singled out for my character's choices, or if the GM says that I am separated due to the needs of the storyline. Thank you for the update, Maerin. __________________________________________________________________ To Fellow Players:It is now in Eruhs' mind to depart from the tavern, so my next post will be one of compliance with the "stranger". Just be aware that Eruhs is still likely to be loud and obnoxious about doing so (it's just the way he is), but in his mind, he wants to get this over with. For all we know, it could be a misunderstanding, someone wishing to meet in secret, or perhaps we really did do something that was quite offensive. In either case, I'm following those immortal words spoken by the befuddled stormtrooper at the western Mos Eisley checkpoint... "Move along!" PS Having fun with you guys! Looking forward to some more. I know Eruhs is a tad overbearing and hyperactive, but I'm hoping that does not dissuade you from divulging more about yourselves to him. I've learned more about Lorenic and have made a pact with him, which does make him most trustworthy at the moment. It is my wish that the rest of us can share and become more acquainted over the next couple weeks of posts. You have interesting characters, and Eruhs and I are both writers. Needless to say, me and my character both have an interest in learning more about you, deepening a connection between our group, and having some depth and development added to everyone's characters. It'll lead to better trust, more understanding of choices and actions, and the ability to communicate more effectively. I'll do my part to make it easier for you to approach me with your characters, so that we may do so. As I said, so far, it's been a lot of fun playing with you all!

...but not one that would endanger others. If I was mistaken, then I apologize. I don't want to assume anything in this game. If such be the case: 1. Don't assume it takes combat in order to die in a dangerous world. Players kill their characters far more often than a game does. And players apparently trying to kill their characters off, or otherwise derail the game in the first couple weeks of the game, annoy me... 2. Don't assume Eruhs has either status or recognition without the feat(s) to back it up. Rather needless to say, you're missing those (no, Renown doesn't cut it, even assuming I approve the two feat choices). A pretentious and arrogant nobody is still a nobody... 3. Don't assume that wisdom and guidance offered by your fellow players on this board should be so quickly dismissed. If you do not like what is said, do not reply. I have zero tolerance for squabbling, whether intentional or no. 4. Don't assume Eruhs doesn't have enough experience to know better. I don't. I'm going to hold you to your concept, because that is what I approved. 5. Don't assume that, if you say something like "I'm going off on my own", or any variation of that, particularly in the OOC Discussion thread, that you will not deservedly get chided by the GM. Later on, I stop giving warnings, and merely demonstrate that Magnamund is a dangerous world... Think that about does it.
