That said, this is a "garbage-in-garbage-out" question. No matter what you roll, you fail. I am certainly not going to ennumerate every single fact, thought, belief, idea or feeling Lorenic might pull to mind about an "evil" gained over an entire lifetime. That's just silly, and I know you know better. ;-) The better the question, the better the answer...

Hi M My Char sheet is not approved yet, but my char is using his History:Droda and History:Supernatural to try and understand the choice that Medwyn is talking about - although Al the player strongly suspects he is talking about the Cenar. Al

I am using enhance senses - and rolled a nine www.roll-dice-online.com/I believe this give me an 18 total - which gives me a bonus of 4 to my notice and sense motive for the next ten minutes. Notice roll: www.roll-dice-online.com/19+4 for enhance senses plus my 15 bonus = 36 Sense motive for crew and surrounding people: www.roll-dice-online.com/1 plus 4 for enhance senses plus 10 = 15 Mearin - I would also like to maintain this power, is that a concentration check? Al

Remember, though using a certain effect might grant you a bonus, that does not mean that existing circumstances combined with the enhanced senses does not ultimately translate into a serious penalty. I assume the first roll is the Power check? You didn't say... 19+4+15 does not equal 36. :-) Other than those points, you're probably fine. As for duration, it lasts 10 minutes, per the rules. Normally, there is no need for a Concentration check as the effect just happens (you aren't "maintaining" it). You would have to recast the spell in order to add more time. However, in the specific circumstances here, if anything happens during that 10 minutes (or sooner, if you release the effect quicker) that might cause sensory pain, the Concentration check may have to be made to shut the pain off again...

However, your IC post needs to be modified. It's not just "I concentrate". Remember, Altor is not psychic. He's going to have to enact some sort of ritual to use his magic and that is, naturally, going to be obvious and visible (without Feats to hide that sort of thing). If you do not edit your post accordingly, the spell will fail...
Further, looking for "anything" dooms you to inevitable failure regardless of how high you roll (as well as, probably, confusing the heck out of Altor). If you look for "anything", you will find "everything" and learn "nothing". :-)
